Board of Directors

Morgan Frank

Chairman of the Board

Morgan Frank joined SANUWAVE as chairman of the board of directors in August of 2022 and became CEO in May of 2023. Mr. Frank has been a principal at the life sciences focused investment fund Manchester Management since 2003 and a director of Manchester Explorer Cayman Ltd since 2013. Prior to that, he was a founder and managing director at First Principles Group, a boutique consultancy and principal investor specializing in corporate restructuring, restarts, intellectual property assessment and salvage, and spin-outs. Prior, Mr. Frank spent approximately five years as an analyst and portfolio manager at Hollis Capital, a San Francisco-based hedge fund. He currently sits on the board of directors of Modular Medical (MODD), a development-stage insulin delivery company. Mr. Frank holds BA’s in Economics and in Political Science from Brown University.

Kevin A. Richardson, II

Director

Kevin A. Richardson, II, joined Sanuwave as chairman of the board of directors in August of 2005. The previous year, he founded Prides Capital LLC and Prides Capital Partners LLC, where he is managing director.

From 1999 to 2003, Richardson was a partner at Blum Capital Partners, a $2.5 billion investment firm, where he was the lead public partner on 18 investments. Prior to Blum Capital, he worked with Tudor Investment Corporation and Fidelity Management and Research, where he managed funds in aerospace and defense and performed research in a variety of technical, financial, healthcare, and IT industries.

Richardson is also on the boards of publicly traded multichannel distributor As Seen On TV, Inc., and travel technology company, Pegasus Solutions. Previously, he served on the boards of Healthtronics and QC Holdings. Richardson received an undergraduate degree from Babson College and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.

Michael Stolarski

Director

Mr. Stolarski founded Premier Shockwave, Inc. in October 2008 and has since served as its President and CEO. Previously, Mr. Stolarski served as the Vice President of Business Development and Acting CFO of Sanuwave, Inc., President of the Orthopedic Division and Vice President of Finance for HealthTronics Surgical Services, Inc. and CFO and Controller of the Lithotripsy Division of Integrated Health Services, Inc. He holds a MS in Finance from Loyola College, Baltimore and a BS in Accounting and a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Jim Tyler

Director

Advisory partner to Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital. Mr. Tyler brings over 40 years of operations and financial leadership in various healthcare delivery models. Mr. Tyler built a successful track record for operation excellence, specifically in the wound care industry, as COO with National Healing which later became Healogics, the nation’s leading provider of advanced wound care.

Ian Miller

Director

Commercial Vice President of Hoogwegt US where he manages a team of traders generating more than $500 Million in annual revenue by purchasing and selling in excess of 250,000 metric tons of commodities which are distributed around the globe. Mr. Miller has a Master of Business Administration from Drake University and brings over 20 years of sales leadership knowledge that will help Sanuwave develop its non-medical verticals and growth strategies. Throughout his career, Mr. Miller has built a successful track record for business development and strategic implementation that have helped companies grow both their top and bottom lines.

Jeffrey Blizard

Director

Senior Director of Sales at AbioMED, where he led sales of Impella in the surgical market bringing it from 16 million to 150 million in 6 years. Mr.Blizard brings a strong knowledge of capital equipment and sales leadership specific to the medical industry. Throughout his career, Mr. Blizard has shown strength in business and market development.
