Sales Training Manager

Reports to Chief Revenue Officer

SUMMARY:

 

The Sales Training Manager is responsible for developing and leading sales training programs and initiatives at Sanuwave Inc.  In this role, the Sales Training Manager will be expected to work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and team to help strategize, design, and facilitate new hire training and continuing education to ensure the sales team is fully knowledgeable and motivated in the key focus areas of medical device sales specific to the wound care industry. The sales manager should foster a culture of accountability and sales success while analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities to promote sales and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Will Collaborate with CRO, CMO and field sales team to develop, facilitate and lead an interactive & engaging adult learning curriculum for the sales group to continually improve product and clinical knowledge, selling skills, and business acumen

  • Help create the strategy, design, and facilitate new hire training and continuing education

  • Partners with colleagues to develop & determine training and education needs for the sales group; staff member will streamline training program and tools as needed.

  • Partners with global training, education and marketing colleagues to align on training and education strategy and needs and global best-practice initiatives, where relevant.

  • Continually monitors new product introductions and new training curriculum and updates new hire training, as appropriate, in line with Sanuwave business strategy.

  • Foster a culture of accountability and sales success

  • Work with executive leaders to develop strategy and establish annual sales projections

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Wound care background preferred

  • 5+ years of sales training experience, preferably in the medical device or med tech industry

  • Superior business development and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated successful experience in sales, preferably in the medical device or med tech industry

  • Can provide evidence of successful development and implementation of a sales training program

  • Experience with development and execution of adult learning programs

  • Excellent planning & facilitation skills

  • Interpersonal with strong collaboration & communication skills

  • Proven organizational skills

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency required

  • Driver’s license & willingness to travel as needed
