OssaTron®

How It Works
The OssaTron® is used to administer an Extracorporeal Shock Wave Technology (ESWT). The OssaTron® uses an electrohydraulic system to initiate an acoustic pressure wave that is targeted to the treatment area within the patient's body. Using an electrohydraulic system ensures that the physician can target the treatment site accurately without having to use any external imaging systems in most cases. The OssaTron® treatment is performed by a physician in their office or a surgery center using some form of anesthesia.
